"
As surprising as it was to me, for once, time passed slowly when Im having fun."
I woke up early in the morning and had a light breakfast. I felt slightly worried since going to Terminal Putra by train was my first. The furthest I've been on a train is from Jelatek to KLCC. Never several more station away to the end of the track. I was worried, and enthusiastic.
On the way there, at Taman Melati, when the train opened it's door, I saw Pak Foong.
"Im waiting for Cheng Luan," he says. So I nodded, the door closed, and Im back on my journey to Terminal Putra.
Upon arrival, I saw Weng Shen, and then the group of pretty girls behind. Edmond, Pak Foong, Sei Lee and her aunt, and Cheng Luan were the ones left who havent arrived. They were late. Edmond came 5 minutes late.

(Top: Edmond came at last and was told to pay RM1 for every minute late.
Bottom:
Ek hem.....lalalala~)
My watch struck 8.55a.m. The Genting Express Bus came. We all boarded it and it left exactly at 9a.m. with minor uncertainties which is negligible. I was seated beside Edmond. Ee Mei with Mei Ying. Su Yan with no one. Shu Pyng with Xiao Bin. Pak Foong with you-know-who. Anyway, it was rather scary to see the bus speed its way up the highland.
When we arrived, we walked up to the top where we rode the Skyway thing. THe pumpkin-shaped-thing that hangs on a strong wire which brings us to somewhere higher and further.
Max 8 people per gondola. There were exactly 8 in my gondola. Ee mei, Me, Weng Shen, Edmond, Shu Pyng, Xiao Bin, Su yan and Mei Ying. The cable car behind us were Sei Lee and Aunts, Pak Foong and Cheng Luan.

(Ee Mei using my camera in the Cable Car. I forgot to shave.)
We were already hyped up before entering any theme park. Genting Highland was beginning to meet their match of a group of really crazy, shameless, people. The girls were yelling as if on a roller coaster when in the cable car.
When we arrived to the station, the wind breezed through our clothing and freezed our skins. Everyone wore their jacket (except for a few, I think). I was too lazy to salvage mine from the bag. We walked and walked in circles until we found our way to the First World Lobby.

(I forgot why were we standing here waiting for something. By the way, Edmond lost his Guide and was the male species was teased because of that. He also left a bottle which had just spend less than two hours with him in the bus.)
Later, we went over to some luggage place to keep our bags and stuff. We went up to the shopping and games area. The indoor theme park. I was really hungry. We went to search for food and ended up in an absurdly killer-price restaurant.

(Mei Ying and her RM6+ dessert.)
Mei Ying was the only one who bought something to drink/eat while we all sat in there and discussed where to eat, which is cheaper.

(We werent eating here at all.)
Once we had decided to give in to fast food, we went straight to the fast food section where there were Burger King, KFC, Mc Donalds and Pizza Hut. Even the fast food had no fixed price. The usual RM7+ would be RM12+ in this place! Edmond, Weng Shen and I had Big Breakfast, each cost RM13. Pak Foong had pies. Cheng Luan had water. Ee Mei bought congee and went to Burger King to eat with the other girls. Edmond's burger was still alive (because it jumped).
As my stomach content says it was satisfied, we went to the outdoor theme park. Except for Sei Lee and Shu Pyng who wanted to go shopping. It was really cold and I started to regret being too lazy to take my jacket. If only someone hugged me that time~ hahaha. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Well, anyway, our first ride was the boring haunted house ride.

(Cheese?)

(judging by the seating in the picture, you can assume that I was sitting alone, which I was. No one wanted to sit with me.)
I thought it would be more scary for me who was sitting alone. But it turned out that there were nothing visible in the ride at all to scare me. The voices from the speaker were terrible due to lousy technical and maybe because of filters. Laughters became buzzing. And scary voices because more buzzing. Maybe the ghost in the haunted house were getting bored of doing the same thing everyday, so they decided to lay back and forget everything.
Disappointed, we went to the Cyclone. A starter roller coaster before a stronger ride.

(The line wasnt very long.Thank Goodness~)
I thought I would puke since I just had a stomach full of McDonalds. I went through it fine. It was really fun. Though I still lack the ability to shout when under pressure. People say its hard to keep it inside while it tries to pushes out from your chest. However, I try and try but no sound can come out from me when I want to shout.

(At the bridge, Ee Mei liked the artificial falls, I guess.)
We went up further and was stopped for a moment by a fountain
from the floor, which suspiciously aimed at Mei Ying. Luckily she
managed to escape.

(Edmond tried to take a picture of me as if I were urinating when the water shoots up but failed. But this one is way better than a pee-ing picture.)
If you can see behind Ee Mei and Mei Ying in that picture, towards the left, there is half of a mushroom like machine with chains hanging down. That was the Baby Chair. Our next ride.
Kerusi Bayi. I gang up with them all to sing "I Believe I can Fly" in replacement to the usual yelling and shouting. They agreed in condition that I yelled "3, 2, 1!!". I did and they sang. However, there was the lyric problem and synchronizing thing. So we ended up talking loudly or yelling.
Once again, I failed to yell. So I sang.

(Weng Shen had a headache after the spinning of Baby Chair so he rested to battle the urge to vomit.)
The Baby Chair was a swing held by long chains as shown in previous photo. The top will spin us around and we would be suspended diagonally, spinning like mad. Then the top will swirl around and the momentum would be different. It would be spining diagonally up and down. In short, it is tempting the rider to puke. Fortunately, my stomach held on and didnt vomit. Mei Ying vomitted though.
Joyce called me when I was spinning. After a short rest, Joyce came. Then came Cheng Luan and Pak Foong. We went up to the tall thing.

(I forgot the name of this piece.)
At first it was hard to persuade them to play. It was hard indeed. So only Me, Edmond, Weng Shen, Su Yan, and Qiao Bin, played. The others took pictures down below. It was a crazy thing. Up to the top, the air was cool and the view was terrific, suddenly the tension increases. I started to think, when is it going to fall and am I prepared for it? what will---
Before I could finish, it fell and my butt left the seat. I was falling at high speed. Then it stopped suddenly and rose again to less than half the height, and falls again! and the another half of the previous half and then fall. It got boring after the first fall.
We waited and prepared our cameras.

(Su Yan and Qiao Bin's turn.)

(They fell!!)

(ya hoo!!...??Messy hair~ Good Fall~)
Next ride was the Corkscrew. An amazing ride. I got the front seat. Totally amazing.

(The line for Corkscrew was rather long. So we had nothing better to do.)

(Clearly, nothing better to do.)
After the ride, we walked around and around and eventually end up at the last ride for the time being. The Flume Ride. The wet one. We fumbled through the electronic devices and seating position. Strategy and what-nots. Finally, Edmond sat in front, Mei Ying sandwiched by me behind. Edmond borrowed his Jacket to Su Yan, to which a surprising tragedy nearly occured. Su Yan nearly allowed Edmonds Jacket to fly off (for more details, ask Mei Ying, Edmond or Me in person).
It was a slow ride. Only super fun when we slide down and the water splashes up and wet us, leaving us very cold and hyped. We stopped our log, rowed our log, until all our logs are connected. Mei Ying was well protected. She was the least wet. She had so much fun, she wanted to go again. And since we made friends with the employee there, it was easier. And also because there werent many people. On the second go, I was in front, and Su Yan behind me. She kept a distance, which was very cruel of her. She was supposed to protect my back. But because she was further, My back was wet along with most of my body parts. My leg was wet at areas which made it seem as if I peed in my pants.
Satisfied at last, we went to our trully last ride for that moment, the mine train. Which was a boring ride. End of story.
******************
We went back to the Lobby to get our bags. Then got our room key cards from Joyce's father. Went up to our room and showered.

(Weng Shen was fixated on DotA when he switched on his notebook. "Fresh Meaatttt!!!")
I played those hand games with Edmond and Weng Shen to decide who gets to shower first. Weng got first, I was second and Edmond was last. I thought of doing a good thing for my roomies while Weng Shen was showering. So I went out to get water supply. When I was back, Edmond stole my shower. Obviously, I disturbed him while he was showering.
However, we made a rule to not open the shower door when someone is using or they will be punished by the other three.
We were all getting hungry. Time for early dinner since we had late breakfast and no lunch. Joyce's father took us to someplace cheap to eat. The cheapest apparently is RM6+ for a plate of chicken rice and RM2.50 for a cup of barley.
On the way to dinner, Ee Mei and Mei Ying sneaked into a casino by squeezing into a big group of people. They asked me too but I was not as fast in squeezing among those aunties as them.
After dinner, I followed the others to the Outdoor theme park entrance.

(It was getting colder and colder.)
They went to somewhere else. Some went in. I went back to the canteen to watch Ee Mei and Mei Ying eat. Edmond and Weng Shen was there too. Ee Mei and mei Ying told us of their experience. They acted casual so no one would suspect. They gambled and won RM30, then RM40, then felt greedy and wanted to go for RM50, then lost RM10. Went back to RM30. They also told us a story about how big-breasted women werent allowed in the casino.
When they were done, we all went in the theme park again and, this time, we played less exuberating games.

(Such cute little kids.)

(SN8C and Energizer. Taken by a kind young woman with a kindergarten son.)

(The Nasi Lemak Girls. (just felt like writing that).)

(Same woman. Darker picture. Stronger bond.)
And so begins the childish games. A much much less exciting but still fun and windy rides. We did take the cyclone again. After dinner. Didnt vomit. Thank goodness. However there was one improvement in that particular cyclone. I learned how to shout. My voice was out! It was terrible and not much of a true shout but a good start nevertheless!

(SN8C on UFO.)
Then we rode the Flying Jumbo elephant. Edmond didnt join because he hates elephants. After some pictures, we went out of there and into the night. The night life begins.
We saw a really nice club. We went in and take some photos and late realizing that it says no cameras allowed. A club called "Cloud 9". A really colourful bar and lounge.

(As cool as Mr. and Mrs. Smith?)

(Edmond took the picture!)
We didnt stay there to drink. We went to "Safari" first because Mei Ying's friend said that place was the "most happening". We had some alcohol and people checking out IC to make sure we were 18 or above. They were some what disappointed they couldnt kick us out. However, they managed to ruin some fun by being mean to customers (us).
I ordered a Blue Lagoon. Edmond had a Screwdriver. Mei Ying had Margarita. Ee Mei had Plain Water with Vodka (just kidding. I just forgot the name.). Shu Pyng had Alexander. Guess what Pak Foong and Cheng Luan had? (dun dun dunnn) Mango juice and orange juice. Later we danced around and was really crazy until they had to switch off the music to stop us. Such jerks.

(we were all really crazy. Using alcohol as an excuse to be drunk. To embarass ourselves happily. It was a crazy and happy night.)
Then Su Yan and Qiao Bin came. I was disturbing Su Yan. I hope she was not intimidated by my "drunk" behavior. Later, when all was tired and knocked out, we zombie ourselves out and towards Cloud 9. They had some beer inside, while I was talking through the phone. Then we went to the arcade and played until we cannot hold ourselves together anymore.
We showered back in our room and prepared ourselves for the coming of the girls. Shu Pyng and Mei Ying came first. I used my Tarot Cards to read their stuff. Then I read Ee Mei's and Weng Shen. We were just playing. I wanted to just play. No seriousness intended. Weng Shen was the crazy one to play with. I dont know why or how. But our of 7 cards, all are dark, demented, and negative. He is like a devil and he somehow enjoys that thought. We laughed through it.
Then Tarot cards got out of business and we played normal playing cards. We gambled using Kopiko sweets then sour sweets. Got bored fast. Shu Pyng and Mei Ying was constantly lying down on the bed, wanting to sleep already. We played some stuff and chatted through the night. Eventually, when we realized that it was 2.30a.m. in the morning and too late already. Everyone was dismissed and off to bed.
Which was utterly useless for me since, I was attacked in my slumber constantly by my bed-partner. I wont say names but he kicked me and left me no space to sleep. I think I managed at least 2 to 3 hours of rest. Weng Shen suddenly talked and Edmond replied. They denied it happen subconciously though. I was hoping that too.
We all woke up officially by 7.30a.m., brushed our teeth, showered, and watched TV while playing computer. Weng Shen with his DotA and "FReSh MeaAAttTTT!!". When the girls was ready, we all went for breakfast at some restaurant. All 14 people, for breakfast, altogether, cost RM201. Scary? very much to me.
Later we went to check out and then keep our luggage in the luggage keeping place. Separate into two groups. Arcade group and Shopping group. Most was negligible but the major fun part was when we were hogging over a toy picking machine. There was a little kid who was quite good at it. He had two cute little girls around his most of the time because of his ability to grab a toy most of the time. Weng Shen and Me called him our
SiFu (master). We were nuts.
We managed to spend about RM30 on many toys. Ee Mei was crazy over this machine. She likes it so much. And Edmond made her so happy. Evidence? Look below. (Mua hahahahaha!!!)

(Awww~!!!! She got a bear from Edmond! (hahaha, play-play only, dont sue me).)
In that white plastic bag Ee Mei is holding contains more of those dolls. Ranging from bears to elephants to weird new species of animal imitations. When they were all satisfied and time to leave, we went to collect our luggage, say goodbye to Joyce and I shoke hands with her dad in gratitude to the free hotel rooms as a representative of SN8C.
In the Cable car, we were as active as when we first came. We all had lack of sleep and our crazy juice were pretty much used up for the trip. But nevertheless, still not normal. Then we walked to the bus station, bought tickets and waited for our ride back home.

(DoubleDecker Bus.)
I slept my way back. Train separated all of us. Cars brought us further apart. Suddenly its like everything we had back then was gone. One moment we were family, second glance and they were out of my sight. Though I will see them tomorrow, but this feeling is the interval before tomorrow. Will things be different? or will we go back to when we never had this trip? Will we feel too awkward to keep it up in school since what we had were at Genting? Or will our bond tighten and we shall hang out more often? Will the influence of PF&CL bring more butterflies in our stomach?

There are more pictures and parts of story from different member's of the Genting Group. Mei Ying, Qiao Bin, Edmond, may have their own pictures and stories to share. Hope you were able to feel what we felt. Peace out~
